Jeff Selingo Confirmed as Virtual Keynote Speaker for ATE

Jeff Selingo, author of the best-selling book College (un)Bound: The Future of Higher Education and What it Means for Students, will be the virtual keynote speaker at OU’s third annual Academic Technology Expo held on January 10, 2014. Selingo’s talk will focus on how the perfect storm of financial, political, demographic, and technological forces is changing higher education forever.

College (un)Bound
explores the college of tomorrow– how families will pay, what campuses will look like, how students will learn, and what skills will lead to success in the job market. Written earlier this year, College (un)Bound turns a critical eye to the current state of affairs in higher education and seeks to predict how technology will transform it for the better. OU Faculty and Staff with a valid University ID can pick up a free copy of the book at the One University Store in the Oklahoma Memorial Union.

Jeffrey Selingo is an author, columnist, and speaker and has spent his journalism career covering the business of colleges and universities worldwide. Selingo is the former top editor of The Chronicle of Higher Education, where he worked for 16 years in a variety of reporting and editing roles. His writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and The Huffington Post.
