It’s been a busy couple weeks for Academic Technology at the University. Last week CTE Director Dr. Mark Morvant presented on digital textbooks and iTunes U, a presentation that was subsequently picked up by the Norman Transcript (iTunes, the future of OU classrooms). We plan to have a more detailed post on this subject in the next couple weeks.
OU also recently launched the One University site to profile technology use on campus. This site launch coincided with the announcement of the iPad program for the Jeannine Rainbolt School of Education. Starting this week, 575 undergraduate education majors will receive a new, fourth generation iPad. View a video of Dean Gregg Garn discussing the initiative below or read the full story in the OU Daily.
