Films on Demand: University Libraries Trial

Sarah Robbins

Want to incorporate video content into your class?  Try streaming video content from FILMS ON DEMAND.

http://libraries.ou.edu/eresources/fod/

  • FILMS ON DEMAND offers over 15,000 full length videos from PBS, BBC, National Geographic, the Royal Opera, and more.
  • Because the content is streamed, you can assign video viewing outside of class and then discuss the video in class.
  • You can also create video clips for use in class or to embed in D2L.

The University Libraries is trialing FILMS ON DEMAND through April 2014.  Please consider incorporating FILMS ON DEMAND content in your spring 2014 classes.  Please send feedback about your experience to Karen Rupp-Serrano, krs@ou.edu.  The Libraries will consider a subscription to FILMS ON DEMAND if user experience with the content warrants.
