Dr. Mark Laufersweiler and Dr. Charlotte Wainwright are offering a hands-on orientation on LaTex, a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. It is most often used for scientific documents, but it can be used for almost any form of publishing. LaTex has become a popular tool for publishers because it allows the author to focus on content rather than specific appearance and formatting requirements.
